My earliest memory...
Sitting beside my Dad while he drove the green and white pickup, looking at his hand on the gearshift because I was too short to see over the dashboard.
This was before the days of seatbelts, car seats and things, when the whole family (Dad, Mom, me, Jen and Barry) rode in the front seat of a regular 1970 pickup truck.
I'm posting a picture of grass because I also remember walking through grass that seemed so tall (but probably WASN'T) and getting a little scared because it didn't have a path and it felt endless!
This grass has always looked like eyelashes to me, so it's rather magical....imagine walking up a hill where all the grass is winking at you!
Yes, MY world IS sort of Alice-in-Wonderland-ish...
