School-made Mother's Day gifts are the greatest, aren't they?
My kids can't wait until the actual day, so here's a picture of the hand tiled trivet Maggie brought home on Friday. Isn't it pretty? She almost had me pull over on the side of the road, on the way home from the bus, to open the package!
It was wrapped very carefully in this, a wrapping picture of her own design. I like the loopedy-loops.
And my lad, Angus, made a bejeweled flower pot at preschool, filled with beans and a flower pen stuck down in it. He gave it to me on the last day of preschool....let me play with it awhile....then took it back. And started moving it all over the house, to find the perfect spot, as jewels dropped off with each handling.
I finally re-claimed it and put it in my kitchen window where he can't reach it.

It doesn't get any sweeter than this. Happy Mother's Day, Mary!
