I'm sure you noticed they are all close up shots. That would be because there are only about 3 sorry little stalks of flowers left, and I didn't want to show you the dead ones. This post is mostly for Fontie, because we are garden nerds, and I haven't posted anything for her since the hoppers hit, in June. (Doesn't that sound like an old-timer? "Back in '09, when the hoppers hit...")
